Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey County — October 26, 2026. People seeking an indoor Halloween activity in Carmel can visit Harrison Memorial Library on Thursday, October 29 from 4 to 5 p.m. for an all-ages DIY witch-hat decorating session. The city advertises the craft event as free and in person.

The library is at Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Street. Questions about materials, accessibility and space can be directed to 831-624-4629 or hml.reference@gmail.com. The city posting does not specify guaranteed supplies for an unlimited number of visitors, so families making a special trip should confirm current arrangements.

This library workshop is separate from the city’s outdoor October 30 Halloween parade and October 31 birthday celebration. Each has its own time and location.
